Kris Castiaux

Senior Instructional Designer

Turning complex topics into learning that makes sense.

Kris began her career as a public-school teacher, where she developed a deep appreciation for how people learn—and how to adapt complex material so it truly connects with different learners. After earning her M.A. in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights, Charge On!), she transitioned into corporate learning and never looked back.

Today, Kris designs engaging learning experiences for organizations that need training to do more than just check a box. Her work spans eLearning, instructor-led training, simulations, performance support tools, and blended learning programs across industries including government, aerospace, finance, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.

Around the team, Kris is known as a “content chameleon.” Give her a complicated topic, a blank storyboard, and a strong cup of coffee, and she’ll happily immerse herself until the story—and the learning—click.

Kris lives in Florida with her husband, mother, and their dog. She has two grown children who are successfully “adulting.” When she’s not designing courses, she loves cruising and traveling—and proudly embraces her inner geek. Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter… honestly, all things fandom are fair game.
